I am sure the KPM can handle higher speeds just fine. I have owned my fair share of naked bikes and have figured out one thing over the years. The bikes can handle the speed just fine, but the rider is a different question.
A longer ride (several hours) on a naked bike at 70-80mph can take a serious toll on you.
