With a little forethought and fabrication, you could use a rod from the brake pedal to a bellcrank fastened to a flat plate along the frame rail. The other end of the bellcrank is attached to a pitbike rear master cylinder with a long length of brake line running back to a new caliper. Posting some pics of the kart itself, pics of the frame from the pedal to the rear brake rotor, and where a different caliper would mount would be a big help
