Ours was a really good time. Both sides of our families had their own things going on that were too far of a drive for a day trip, so we were invited to a friends house. Kind of a Misfit Thanksgiving for all those who had no where else to go or have no real family close by. Buddy's place is cool. Built himself an outdoor, fully stocked bar. We spent a bunch of time around the fire pit just enjoying the nice weather and each others company. They really put on a great spread with all the meats, sides, etc. A few more folks showed up than is in the pic but a nice, small crowd.

I love family, but once in a while it's nice just to go somewhere else and do something different with good friends. No pressure, no expectations. Not tons of prep and work. Home at a decent hour.
