Chain-RK standard. Inexpensive, bombproof. I've run them on all of my bikes for a while now. O-ring chains are a waste of money, IMO. They may last a little bit longer (depends on the chain), but they drag too much for my taste-especially on low HP bikes like ours. I actually put a brand new O-ring chain on my Templar X right out of the crate, never ran the stocker. A lot of drag going through the chain guide. I ordered a $25 RK standard like I run on my other bikes for it, much better. Clean and lube it once in a while, I'll need sprockets before the chain craps. I'll save the O-ring chain for my street tracker build.
Kenda K270 as a 70/30, K271 as an 80/20ish tire. 271 is excellent on the street, and not awful on hardpack. Shinko 700 70/30 is good. Tusk D Sport as a 50/50, better off-road.
IMHO, of course.
