Nothing hurt but my pride.
It was pretty warm today, finally. Arpok had been parked in the sun for a while, in neutral, with the parking brake set, and on a slight grade. I threw some stuff in the trunk, went up to the front door to see what was keeping Mrs.Cheesy. Heard a noise, turned, and saw Arpok sitting in the ditch. I wonder if the drums expanded just a bit when the sun heated them up.
Arpok picked my wettest ditch to roll into and was stuck good. I needed the Jeep to drag it out. I went through the drum brakes this afternoon and readjusted the parking brake. The driveway to the barn is steeper and I couldn't make it budge with the brakes set once I got the PB adjusted. Also found the brake linkage on the sidecar needs some work.
