It wasn't exactly warm today at 45°, but it is January, so it actually kind of was. Took a 25 mile ride this afternoon. As a noob rider with knobbies, I've been given plenty of warnings of iminent danger in all kinds of conditions, but, to me, nothing trumps experience. Today it was wet roads and grit. Lots of grit from the winter road crews. Of course I found it on the windiest, hilliest roads I was on. I rode gingerly in those places and came out unscathed. A little caution and prudence goes a long way.

Went out to a nearby lake and also stopped at one of the swollen creeks nearby.
