This past Saturday and Sunday I had the opportunity to really put the bike through its paces….at least for an older guy with psoriatic arthritis. I rode primarily off road a total of @ 50 miles for both days, and after all the little adjustments I’ve done (carb, RK natural chain, rear shock pre-load adjustment, 16t countersprocket), I was able to keep up with my nephews on their bikes fairly well with trail riding (KLX140; Yamaha YZ125x). This little bike definitely is a load of fun and a great value for the $. I will most certainly have to get the seat re-upholstered as it starts to become uncomfortable to sit on, even with road riding, for greater than 15-20 minutes of riding time. The next step will be to get some wraparound handguards along with some Pro-Taper handlebars. The OEM bars flex a little too much for my liking, and they don’t work with standard wraparound handguards, as Mike Festiva demonstrated in his set-up video for this bike.
