It's one thing to buy a $1300 dollar motorcycle, to save on fuel or use as a toy, but I wouldn't want to drive one of those unproven cars in the fast pace world going to work and back in a major city. It's initial cost would be several thousand dollars, the resale value would be next to nothing, they don't have any kind of manufacturers support, and I wouldn't trust the vehicle in reliability, or safety. I'm sure some day the Chinese will make a good car that will be common day in the US market, but I don't want to be the ginea pig. Kinda like Hyundia. In the late 80's those cars were plagued with problems, but now it's a nice car. 10-20 years from now I could see a Chinese car in my driveway, but not now. Good post none the less.
