For those who are unfamiliar with the stock fork guards, here is a photograph I found on the internet (I never installed mine).

The Acerbis fork guards are much smaller, lighter, and stronger. I also prefer the appearance of the Acerbis, lower fork protectors.

Here is another view of the stock, Zongshen fork guards.

Here is a similar perspective of my trimmed, Acerbis fork guards.
