Not sure we have any buggy owners here... I have a Gio 110cc ATV for my kids. I'm sure it is the same motor. It has enough power to pull my 280lbs ass around at a reasonable clip for the steering and suspension shortfalls.
With a bit more weight in a buggy, and two teenagers in it, I don't think it would be smoking fast, but it should whip them around some.
