clutch adjustment

take the lever off of the clutch rod on the motor... move it forward to allow you to move the clutch so you get extra travel.. you will see when you adjust the clutch cable at the motor as much as you can... and then adjust the hand clutch lever more.. you will be able to put the trans in gear with out the bike moving forward... this is the way the clutch has to be.. when clutch is applied... and gear selection is made... THE BIKE SHOULD NOT MOVE FORWARD... this is a must.. so adjust the clutch as needed.. there is nothing saying about free play.. they always say what I said in large letters.. this means the clutch is working as it should... you have to have so much travel to full release the clutch from the motor.. I do this to all my bikes and atv.s ( T3 ) and all works well.. excellent smooth shifting
