Are you going to add one of those 80cc Happy Times engine?
I did one of those a years ago. Quite fun! I used a Trek bike from CL and it took about 4 hours to add the motor. The bike did about 20 MPH and worked well. Sold it for a small profit.
If this is your intention, the only advise I can offer is make some vibration isolators out of an old inner tube when you mount the motor, and locktight everything. These units vibrate a ton. Also, as small as they are, they are loud, and will ring your ears after a long ride. I wore earplugs.
Finally, they are dangerous! Too fast for a bike, too slow for a motorcycle.

PS looking at the rack, maybe you're doing a rack mounted conversion? My motor required a wider clearance left crank to clear the engine case.
