It's Alive! we figured out the wiring and got it to run now.
We basically saw that the original motor and the new motor had the same color wires but in different places in the plug in. So we took out all the wires from the new motor plug in and repositioned them like the old motor. What is confusing is that the matching plug that is on the bikes wiring harness doesn't match either engine as far as color to color ?????

I took the clutch cover off the old motor to put it on new motor so we would have the tachometer drive that the new one doesn't have and found this piece loose on the shaft???? Nut was totally unscrewed. oil slinger thingy??? Could this of contributed to original motor failure at 375 miles? rj
