Trail riding will definitely yield lower fuel mileage. Fuel mileage of 56 mpg is not excessively low for the type of riding you are doing. However, I still wonder why your used motor oil smells of fuel.
Ill keep this thread updated when I get the results from oil analysis.

It's probably nothing but I suspect the intakes being tight were causing excessive rich mixture and maybe some of the unburnt fumes/fuel made it to the oil. The "Camp Fire Tube" did collect quite a good sample last long ride.

The Valves are all .06mm so hopefully the next tank of fuel shows improvement. I do spend a lot of time trailriding this bike as it's a massive improvement over my larger Stelvio for that purpose (and the Stelvio would break a leg off if it fell on you!).

The bike runs excellent and sounds like it's breaking in well.
