I agree that a heated injector would help with cold-starting (as you say), but I do not agree that ethanol will not ignite in liquid form (as the video implies).
Non-heated auto injector systems and even E85-specific carbs will still run without added heat.
The real benefit is easy, consistent starting in any temperature, and no need for an enrichment circuit or conventional choke.
