One of the things I took for granted at Chez Fromage that I don’t have at Cheesy Manor are the Scrappers that came around on garbage night and hauled away metal junk. Now, I have to load up the Chevy and haul that stuff 25 miles to Elgin to get rid of it. On the other hand, I do get paid for the junk.
So, I took a 70lb cast iron sink, an old Char-Griller barrel grill, and the POs fire pit to Elgin and came back with a whopping $3.84.
Didn’t even cover the gas.
