Ain't that the truth. We had dogs, cats, a couple of raccoons, and the occasional rodent in the house I grew up in. It took me leaving home to figure out that I was allergic to cats in their plural form. Also, onions.

At one time, we had three small dogs whose total weight didn't equal one Buster. The smallest one would lay across your shoulders like a dog stole. We learned quickly that it was so she could sneak a bite of whatever you were eating. The other two would sit in my lap as two farting hot water bottles if I was a bit under the weather. It could be awful at times.

We didn't realize how much we missed having a dog in the house until we got Buster.
