FWIW, I have SD plates on my hawk here in NC. my SD title and registration states my NC address. I also have my NC license and have liability insurance on it. I've not been stopped, but if I am, I'm willing to have the discussion since everything technically is in order. other than going through a checkpoint, I'm not sure when I'd get pulled over. it's not like the hawk is going to be breaking speed limits.
