The only thing I'm worried about is the battery failing and leaving me stranded somewhere someday - should I get a new upgraded shortly after I get the bike? Is the '16 battery any different from previous years?

i think they changed batt. after 5000 mile west coast trip got my bike in november been under cover but outside no starting prob. even when below zero for few days congrats on new bike
