I agree with wheelbender that the 125 looks a lot more fun than a mini, like the Grom. The 50cc bike puts a whole new spin on the 50cc class of mopeds/scooters. There are some videos of a young woman riding one of the Taotao versions and doing vlogs, although I believe she sold it.
As far as speeds go--keep in mind that the stock speedometers are usually two things when it comes to Chinese bikes--1. They are NOT accurate in the least bit 2. They are oftentimes measuring kilometers and kilometers per hour even though they state MPH. Sometimes, they are a mix of the two--the speedo, while being inaccurate enough, will be paired with an odometer that is racking up kilometers
If you have access to a GPS app., like many members here, you can confirm or figure out how off your speedo really is!
Oh, and keep posting photos and/or videos...you are the first member to report buying the full-size 125 bike! Heck, I wouldn't mind videos of the 50cc
