That is excellent advice.

All Honda dirt bikes come equipped with rubber grommets which support the valve stem, and keep dirt out of the valve stem hole. The rubber grommets replace the valve stem nut, and allow the valve stem to move as the inner tube shifts.

If you don't have a Honda dirt bike, you can buy the Tusk Rubber Valve Support/Seal kit for $1.99 from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC.

I have these rubber grommets installed on the valve stems of all my motorcycles. I love them, and highly recommend them.
