I had exactly the same problem with my brand new V-Raptor - went for a 10 mile first ride and saw drops of oil, panicked when I saw it! By next morning, it had set hard(ish) and waxy. Definitely chain wax. Definitely not an oil leak. Cleaned it off, had a little bit more but not like the first "display".
