I'm probably worst case scenario weight wise and I geared the front to 13T which gets me a reliable 70-75mph by gps. With stock gearing I'd hit 79mph by gps on a flat with no wind but wouldn't want to cruise at that speed. Any hills or wind can knock you back to 60-65 worst case so be prepared for that on highways.
This bike really isn't a great choice if you need highway performance on a regular basis.
Another thing to consider is your really not going to pass people without huge passing zones past 55mph.
That said it's excellent off the highway and below 65mph.
