I couldn't see why not, but that is only if there ever was one. The original owner might not have ever had a title since many bikes could not be registered in California. I used to see numerous enduros offered in Craigslist that were never registered. However, there were some generic Chinese bikes that did manage to get California plates, but that would be if one could trick their local DMV office.

All that being said, and so you don't lose hope--I believe you can get a title, but would need to go to the DMV and ask.
