Astounded as to how little their is for support in Australia, I spoke to someone who said he had a spare loom for a 250 Zongshen motor. sent it to me and got most of the way of the old loom an dwent to replace the magneto and stator and he's given me an 11 pole magneto, where mine had an 18 pole 3 phase, at this point the spare parts guy didn't want to know me...

WTH is that 11 pole (chonda 3 phase...) ? Zongshen NEVER had that config in their LY200 / LY250 (based on Yamaha )
It's either 16 (as Sierra / search SpudRider's post) or 18.

18 is ALL DC. Supply good DC 12v source will starts if pickup/ rotor / ign coil / CDI /wiring are in working order
