They are very retro and very "American" in looks. I am not sure how many US companies produced scooters, but Cushman definitely did. My only fear with the "retro" movement is pricing. For instance, the old 'Mustang' motorcycle which I was never familiar with until they started getting reproduced by California Scooter Company cost near or over $4k depending on 150cc engine or 223cc engine. Interestingly, the 150cc engine is manufactured in Taiwan by Hartford and their larger 223cc engine is manufactured in China.
