It appears to me the Lifan CDI unit will work for your Zong, provided you wire the pins correctly.
You could probably also use the Lifan regulator/rectifier, and the Lifan ignition coil.
Please keep us updated regarding your experiment. If the Lifan CDI unit doesn't work for you, I will be happy to ship you a Zongshen CDI unit from the United States.
