The VM28 flatslide carbs are like 80-110 bucks plus you need to get a new boot to connect it too the motor ... The flatslide carbs are supposed to have better throttle response also

Thank you for your response. I think the pros and cons of VM26 carburetors is connected on how you ride the bike. Going bigger means giving up sharpness below half throttle in order to gain above half throttle. That's why I asked you how you see yourself using the bike.
