Sorry,... of course, it has to get feedback from its sensors ,etc.

I may suggest that the lock up issue with the computer was caused by the disruption of data thru the patch cable which there is not much to be done about . Like you say, seems like you need to do this on a bench rig of some type.

Looks neat, I m sure with a little time you will figure things out
