The Pitster Pro LXT400 was manufactured by Xingyue. Several variations of this bike are still being sold by Xingyue Canada.

The engine in these motorcycles is a hybrid design, based on a Honda, NX250 bottom end, and a Rotox top end. Based upon the combined experience of our forum members, we must conclude the bottom end of this Xingyue engine is suspect. :( Forum member Mebigdave went through 2 gear boxes on his Xingyue 250 engine, which appears to have the same bottom end as the hybrid, Xingyue 400cc engines.

To the best of my knowledge, no one anywhere has ever reported these engines to be reliable for even 5,000 miles. :( In stark contrast, I have now ridden my Zongshen 200GY-2 for 41,500 miles, and it has never run better.
