Apollo 250 not starting

Hello, I have an Apollo 250 and it was running fine 2 days ago. Yesterday I replaced the stock handlebars with a set of pro taper. After removing all the levers and switches and replacing the throttle assembly with an aluminum assembly I can’t get the dike to start. It has spark and compression, fuel is good. I only use 93 octane and it’s fresh. Carb is clean and plug is new. Any thoughts? I’m wondering if I did something to the kill switch, but it will turn over with the electric start. Also I did check the fuse and it’s good.

nvm, i reread your post. If you have spark, compression, and fuel. ... has to be ignition related. wiring, bad ground... something in there is off

That’s what I’m thinking since nothing was touched except for handlebar controls.

I'd pull the kill switch and see if a connection came loose, whether solder or plug-in. The kill switch does not interrupt electricity to the starter, only to the ignition itself, so you would expect it to turn over but not start if the switch was depressed.

But wait, if there is spark, kill switch is OK, right??
I mean, if you have spark, then the ignition is on and the coil is powered. If the kill switch is thrown, the ignition (which creates the voltage for spark) is turned off, killing the engine.
But you say there is spark, so the ignition is on.
