Tbr7 carb tuning

Put a new mikuni carb on my bike with a 105 main jet on it also did the air box mod it started right up and ran good let the bike set a couple hours went back out and didn't want to start and after getting it started it was stuttering a little at idle could the air fuel screw need adjusted more I have it at 1 and 1/2 turns out could it be too rich

What about your idle adjustment screw ? I used a portable lawnmower tach to get me to 1500-1600 RPMs

2 turns out on the air\fuel was too rich for me, 1.5 turns was better - also my needle is raised by 1 washer.

I have a 100 main and no airbox mod

So we are not talking apples to apples

I'm no carb adjusting guru, but since you didn't mention the idle screw Im asking.

Also.. no offense ( I do this all the time )... is your petcock open ?
