Pretty much bike won't start. Starter not engaging and getting grinding noise when kick starting. I've changed the solenoid and battery.

Update: new starter, solenoid, and battery. Still just get clicking when trying to start it. Checked plugs and connections all connected with no sparking. What else could it be??

What was wrong with the starter ?solenoid ? And the battery ? It sounds like you just started throwing parts at the bike instead of trying to diagnose it properly .Do you own a multi meter or at the least a test light ? Did you charge either one of your batteries ?

Always had a grinding noise while starting with electric start. So only used kick starter. After kill switch still got a small grinding noise but not as bad as when starting. After changing to nibbi carb only got clicking noise when trying the electric start, no more grinding and no movement from starter. Changed the parts and still nothing from starter. Now my kick start lever broke so bike is down totally for now.
