High Mileage Chinabikes

If you have a high-mileage Chinese motorcycle, let's say at least 10,000 miles/16,000 kilometers, let us know:
year, make and model
number of miles on it
what regular maintenance you have done
what repairs were needed outside of normal maintenance due to age (i.e. not crashes)

There should be a few, as the analog speedometer on most of these seem to keep the odometer reading in "Chinamiles" (similar to KM)-lol.

I think there is another thread on this somewhere.


My 07 Lifan 200 (CG engine) went 53,000 miles with oil changes, valve adjustments, a clutch, and a few spark plugs. Oil pump chain and balance shaft cushion rubbers we're making noise at that point so I replaced the engine.


2017 Taotao Rhino (CG engine) has over 1300 hours and still runs like new.



Lifan 140cc engine on my old Trail 90 has about 16000 miles. Had to put a helicoil in the sparkplug hole but otherwise just normal maintenance. Also replaced the plastic timing chain roller with a Honda rubber one just to make it quieter.

Problem is many older members have faded away, along with their China bikes. Who know how many miles they may have now, if they still have them.
I have over 7500 miles on Q (Suzuki clone) with just oil changes. Still have the original NGK plug I put in it when we bought it. Doesn't burn a drop of oil. Also, I checked the valves annually and have never had to adjust them. Always been in spec.

The poor CG motor in my Rhino has been hammered as a property mule and has giving no real issues.....other than the seat being a complete POS. Finally had to buy another. The thin plastic pan has a difficult time with my 230 pounds.

I have close to 9000 real miles on my Hawk. I have three bikes so the Hawk has been transformed into mostly off-road riding the the miles haven't really added up in the past couple of years. The hawk is still going strong. I do take it out around town every once in a while. It's been a very reliable bike.
