Doh! Electric ATV vs. Gas ATV

Hi! My 4 yr old wants an ATV for Christmas. My husband is completely against a gas powered one bc he said my son will get burned. I kinda want to call BS on that bc I feel like we'd never leave him unattended with it, but I also am not sure If i am just that uninformed. Also, we've been looking at Electric options and I want something he'll still enjoy in a few years and those seem hard to come by... so my ask is:

1. Is getting burned something that will likely happen? And if not, any tips on talking to my husband?

2. If you were looking for a good Electric ATV, what would you pick?

Thank you!!

For a 4 yr, old i would start out with electric. Venom Motorsports has a good selection and a dealer that will provide support after sale. https://www.venommotorsportsusa.com/...tvs-for-adults

FYI make sure whatever you buy has a Lithium Battery. Run time is way longer than lead acid batteries.

My daughter started out at 5 with a 110cc. One of my friends bought one for his daughter (also 5) and my daughter wanted one too.
Now maybe it was just dumb luck but all of us used to ride together allot and the kids never got hurt. Now me and my buddy were always getting hurt but that wasn't what the OP was asking. Lol

Getting burned is unlikely unless he goes touching stuff. My daughter was 5 when she got a 110 taotao.

The problem with battery power is the limited riding time. And gas when it run out fill it up and keep going .
