Hot summer desert ride.
It's been a record mild summer here in the Intermountain West but today was toasty. About 90 degrees with the usual .01% humidity.
I had done a little tuning work on Brother Roger's KLX 300 so as a good friend and mechanic I took it for a ride up the hills into the desert. The KLX rides great. It's quite a bit lighter than my 250 (no battery or starter or street equipment) and has maybe a bit more power. It's hard to tell because it's geared much lower than my street legal KLS250S.

A true friend will go the extra mile, Weld. As always, thanks for posting the nice photos, Doc.
