Rps Magician won't start, whats new...

So my RPS Mag has had problems out the crate, i understamd i wouldnt get perfection but come on. New spark plug, starter solenoid, 12v battery, oil change. Alot more but you get the point. the bike wont start again and i think i finally figured out why. This wire which im assuming is some kind of sensor was pinched in the front gear sprocket. Does anyone know a name or part number for this on a 2018 RPS Magician 230cc

That is the gear selector switch and shouldn't have anything to do with it running. You can either contact the dealer you bought it from to send you a new one or just pick one up here. https://www.vmcchineseparts.com/prod...0-cg250-engine

Check all the connectors up by the battery and make sure all the pins are pushed all the way in and locked in place. I had a few loose pins on mine that gave me trouble.

Thanks that explans why i dont have a 5th gear indicator light. I hope its just a lise wire or pine. I dont even have 70. Miles on this thing but i still love it For around town .

Other things to check are that the kill switch wasn't turned on by accident. (A few of us here have done that lol) , If equipped with a safety switch on the kick stand it will not start unless the kick stand is up.
