A push-pull cable, like the throttle or choke on a riding lawn mower can be made to work. The closer to the carb, and the smoother the bend, the better it will work...ARH

I don't think anyone has made up a kit for this, so I guess you get elected. Look at a riding mower, it should show you how. A choke cable for a Cub Cadet should work. So, you have to have a clip or panel for the pull end of the cable. I do not recommend having the cable ending up on the front forks ~ too apt to push/pull the cable when steering. The carburetor end has to have a bracket to hold the end of the outer casing. It is very simple, just look at how they do it on a lawnmower. Next you will have to drill a very small hole in the carb choke handle, out near the end of the handle. The wire goes through this. Now you will have to get two barrel nuts, one for each side of the choke lever. You will probably have to remove the detents that hold the choke lever in each position. While it might pull anything, it isn't able to give a lot of push...ARH
