250cc honda clone engine big bore kits

Hello all, I have a x-pro companion 250 that has a 223cc Honda clone engine. I did some research and is interested in getting a big bore kit to make a few extra horsepower. Since My bike has a Honda clone engine, I'm curious if a big bore kit for Honda 223cc engine would work on my bike.
Has anyone done similar projects to their Chinese bikes and are willing to share their experiences?

not worth it ,won't gain much.
