Hawk swimming lessons
Well in light of recent events there is some good news. About a week ago Jay thought he was Sean Connery in the Hunt for Red October and took my Hawk for a swim. I think he even said "damn the torpedoes" as he submerged it.
Today we put it right. And by the look of the air filter I think it's safe to say he swamped it further than the TBR7. We put a new filter in it and drained the float bowl 3 times and it seems to be running great again. We won't know until he takes it for a test ride tomorrow. We didn't change the oil, it had just been changed before his aquatic adventure and there's clearly no sign of water contamination in the sight glass or on the dipstick. I have however pulled his submariner license and he's downtroddenly agreed to only dry land exploration. |

Jay may want to rethink replacing his TBR7 with a swamp buggy.
