Klis fortress

This one is from 2010
It was on a warm day and I had nothing better to do. Klis fortress is located about 15km from Split. Its a short ride...even with scooter.
Originally I went out to replace my rear tire but then decided to take it out for a test ride. Fueled it up and on my way I was. ripping it uphill almost 45km per hour. (eat yourself ghostrider!)

One of the strategically most important objects. Toilet. Notice a descending brown stain on the wall under it? that's right. I wander how it felt during winter

Luxurious interior.

I guess there was no better place to install mobile antenna tower than on 2000 yrs old piece of history.

A view from the top

I guess this is a modern version of an mule

And a scenic view to the north

Time to pack up in rush home, leaving the fortress in my rear view mirror (if i had one)...it's a downhill ride so i really ripped the road...almost 65kph at moments

Thanks for posting the great photos. I moved the thread for you to the Ride Reports sub-forum. I want to see more photos of your Zong in it's native habitat of Croatia!

Thanks Spud
I just don't have any idea where to go with the zong these days. Made few rides but almost no photos at all.

I may have to move Croatia to my bucket list of places to see. I think the only thing close to Klis fortress in the US is Mesa Verde.
