Hey all....

New member here...I used to own a CFMoto V5 and loved it. Life caused me to have to sell it. Been over a year. Looking to get back into riding...I like riding different stuff, so the China bikes always interest me.

Anyone know anything about this?

I've never heard of that bike, but I like the looks of it. I'm not much of a CVT guy, but the fact that it's Taiwanese makes me feel better about it than a standard water-cooled CB. Tools that have been made in Taiwan are usually decent quality, and my guess is this bike is too. I shy away from water cooled CB's, but it's hard to get away from it at this displacement level.

The tank, low clearance front fender, fat front tire, chopper headlight, triple-mounted front signals and dual disc front brakes are really nice design features. My guess is that 750 engine is from an ATV,

Welcome to the forum!

I really like that bike but I'm not a fan of automatics, CVT's and the like, on motorcycles of even ATV's for that matter. Just my personal preference. Nothing intrinsically wrong with them. I like to control the drivetrain myself.

Well from a guy that started on manual transmission shift atv's and now ONLY rides a CVT Yamaha 4x4 ATV I will not go back! I only drive a standard transmission car as I want the control but when I am in the bush and tackling some nasty terrain I do not want to have to worry about shifting gears.
CVT is a good solid performing system that is well proven on ATV's and snowmobiles for years.
BUT if I got on a crouch rocket again firstly there would be a divorce because I promised the wife I would NEVER do that again before she agree to marry me and secondly it would be a manual shift transmission and I would never ride a touring or cruiser style.

I personally love a CVT. With my hip, knee, and ankle issues, as little effort as possible is enjoyable. I loved my V5 from CFMOTO, perfect size and it was fun. Looked good too! Only downside was highway capability as it really was screaming to maintain 60-65mph. I would hope this bike, even as a single lunger could be highway capable.

Thoughts?

Fuel injection too. Looks like a good cruiser. The CVTs make great commuter machines and will probably be popular with the ladies.

The Qlink 250 cc rehashed Ventos are not CVT. The Qlink Legacy was CVT but was just a CFMOTO V5 with different stickers.

Well, I checked with Dinli Global, and there is a Dinli USA who has all rights. Unfortunately, appears in 2008 Dinli USA won a giant lawsuit against Dinli Global. They have never been paid, still retain all USA rights, and want nothing to do with the parent company or this motorcycle. Anyone know ways around that?

Unfortunate how good bikes at a good price are not readily available.
