New ATV Tao Raptor won’t start
Hey Guys, New Tao Raptor ran at idle for about a minute and a half the first time I started it then stalled. Now it won’t start. The starter just buzzes or clicks. I thought maybe the starter was bad so I replaced it. Same issues. Checked the battery voltage with a multi meter and it’s reading 12.10. Any thoughts what else could be wrong? Frustrated to say the least given it’s a brand new ATV. Appreciate any help on this. I have a short video I can share, but I can’t get it to upload on this site. Thank you.

What is the battery voltage when the starter is engaged? Shouldn't drop below 9 volts.

Hi there Chang-On, 12.10 volts is showing your battery is weak and that’s causing the buzzes and clicks your hearing. If new the battery needs to show at least 12.8 volts. Charge the battery and I think that will solve your problem. Your hearing the solenoid clatter from low voltage. My thoughts…
