Lifan KPM 200cc

Hi everyone,
Newbie motorcycle owner/rider here. I just bought the Lifan KPM200cc motorcycle. Very excited to start riding. I will be posting all info and photos of my bike on this thread. Bike should be here next week.
I have a question about storing my motorcycle in the apartment. I live on the basement level of my complex. I will post photos of the entrance. I'm dead-set on keeping this thing inside. any tips on how i can accomplish this? Thanks in Advance!

Welcome aboard! Don't let the fire marshal or apartment owner find out. Definitely a life safety code violation.

The weight is listed a 333 lbs. That may be dry weight. I'd just buy a cover and keep it outside. If you're worried about theft, they do have lockable mini garages. It's harder to break into a solid box than it is to cut a chain.

Alright, lets say I decide to keep it outside... Anyone have recommendations as to what anti-theft devices to invest in? i'll get a crappy bike cover for sure.

What area so you live in? Depending on where you're at it could be anything from a simple disc lock to needing to cover your bike with a 300lbs steel box. Lol.

But yeah, a disc lock, and maybe something to secure the bike to a post or something hard to move.

Yes. The shipping oil will work, but it's not great.
