KP 200 Front Caliper Bolts - - Safety Issue

I just pulled the front brake caliper off of my 2017 KP 200 and found that the bolts that secure the caliper to the fork leg are very short. On my bike they only grab maybe three threads in the plate they screw into..

Looking at them from the other side of the bike, they only extend about half way into that plate.

I don't know if they are the same for newer models or not or if they are the same for the KPR or KPM.

If you own any of these bikes, it is probably worth taking a look. Losing one or both of those bolts could be a big problem.

New info: I replaced the stock bolts that were m8x35 with m8x40 bolts and added a lock washer. Now the end of the bolt is flush with the back of the mounting plate and use all of the threads.

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely something to look into.
