Hello from Spring Texas
Hello,
I was a motorcycle rider about 8 years ago but had to sell it to pay for my sons birth. Had a friend with a Grom and I got bit again. After a bunch of thought decided on a Lifan KP Mini 150cc (I had a Ruckus but that doesn't belong here). I am a small 136lb 5' 6" Asian guy so it fits perfect. Glad to be here and learn and participate. What does everyone else have? Current project? I want to get an idea of the range of the definition of "China Bikes". |

Welcome aboard. Nice looking bike. At 136 lbs that thing should fly.

Welcome!
There's no reason we can't talk about your Ruckus; that's what the Other Brands forum is for.

Welcome to the forum, Ceasar. Most of us have a China bike as a thought experiment of sorts, and have something else in the stable. Cheesy and I both have Ural motorcycles, there's a generous smattering of the big four Japanese brands, some classics, some homebuilds, and pretty much anything else you can think of. All in all, you'll find most of us have China bikes because of the conversations we get to have in the forum, and the real world. They're great conversation starters. Feel free to reach out to anyone with questions, and somebody is sure to pontificate about oil, gear ratios, suspension mods, carb tuning, you name it. There's several lifetimes of info floating around here, and we're always happy to share!

Welcome! I think you made the right choice getting the KP Mini. If I wasn't such a tall fat sasquatch, I would probably get one myself lol.
Many of us here are owners of the Chinese made Enduro bikes sold under various re-branded names. I have an "RPS" Hawk 250, aka the Haosen-Hensim Hawk as my Chinese made mode of transportation. As Weldagrind said, feel free to talk about your other bikes too. I have a thread on my VFR1200 and previously had one about my GL1000 Goldwing. Many of us are just bike fans in general, nor are we too picky. You definitely won't find too many snobs on this site.
