2022 base hawk updates

I haven't seen anything on factory updates for the base hawk so I figured I would list some I noticed that I didn't expect.
1 rear disk brakes, not sure how new this is but I had expected drum.
2 preload adjustable shock, a nice surprise.
3 gel battery!
4 everything was tight and noticable loctite on where it should have been.
5 the rims and spokes seem updated from what I can tell, all spokes where also tight out of the box.

At some point the gas cap was updated as well, from the locking cap to the more dirt bike style twist cap with a vent

I've also found out the crankcase vent has been updated in the airbox as well.

A few modifications

I have added a 28mm pwk carb a silicone ait tube to put a pod filter in the air box with some trimming. Installed an ims shifter, preload adjusters, hand guards/bark busters, and an hour/tach. Now have .2 hours on it, haven't ridden it anywhere yet though. LoL still have 2-3 ft of snow on the ground.

ya know, I never have understood why Haosen made that brake pedal design the way they did. That little silver spring connected to the footpeg is pretty hokey.

Because that was the way Honda did it for decades. Those types of switches are also super cheap to make.
