Interchangeable starters? Expect vs raven( Bashan 250)

Just curious before I go ripping out the starter thought Id ask are they the same? they look identical.. I've got two bikes down and they have similar parts so theoretically I should be able to get one roadworthy.. I know the xpects starter is good cuz it will start the thing but with the engine problem I can't run it so tubes and a starter solenoid and possibly new coil or stator the raven should come back to life currently is showing weak spark if any and the starter is super bogged down and sounds slow and dying...also have to jump the solenoid to get it to turn over...

ALL of these starters are 12V starters with ONE 12v connection to the battery via the starter solenoid. They all do the same thing. I the bolts line up, and the splined drive gear is identical, and the seal on the part that plugs into the engine case are the same, it will work.

Thanks man I thought that was the case ..just needed the second opinion better safe than sorry, I can't afford a mistake right now..
