New bike coming / It's here

Just ordered a MotoMax 250 and am wondering about the carb. This bike is to have the same engine as the Brozz 250, so what brand of carb do these have. I am wanting to know because the reviews I have seen says they need to be re-jetted. Will Mikuni jets work in these?? Thanks

It should take Keihin jets. I would wait till you get the bike to make sure on what type of jet it has in it.

I recently got a Brozz 250 from Peace....like you, I had my tracking # by 6:00 the evening I ordered,...and delivery was less than 48 hours later (VA)...complete with all necessary paperwork.

You are way closer than me. I am hoping to get it by the end of next week. I know Saia is pretty efficient. I once ordered a zero turn mower from a dealer up in IL., it was shipped thru Saia, and I had it at my door in about 4 or 5 days.

yes,..that is for sure. My Brozz for all practical purposes (excluding those people needing to improve for maximum speed and power..) has absolutely perfect carburetion...it'll easily start cold with no choke anything above 50 degrees,....idles perfect,...has no stumbles or other driveabilty concerns...
For the average person/consumer,..it cannot be improved on as delivered.

I'm at 1000' elevation. I did adjust the valves during set-up. Without the valve adjustment, I'm sure it would have shown some start-up and running issues, as they were very tight. Stock carb is the made-in-japan Keihin.

Thank you for the info. My elevation is 384'. We will see how it runs. My last 250 was a Suzuki TU and it had FI, so there was no need to tinker.

Got the bike yesterday. The shipping carton looked pretty beat up, but the bike had no blemishes whatsoever. I was missing one of the sleeves for the pegs, contacted Jeff and he is sending me one out today. Got it all together and started it up. I let it run for a while on the choke and when I switched the choke off, idles perfect. I have been seeing things about heat cycles. What is the best way? When I had it running, I let it get up to about 140* at the head, then shut it down. I am liking it.

Just Change out the oil OFTEN and check the valve clearance. The motor will act totally differently after 1000 miles. It’s tight now.
