New importer
So, not on here for a long time. I was reading news and saw an add:
http://www.dragonail.com/index.php?main_page=index Prices are low enough for me to consider it. Wondering if anyone has dealt with them...... |

I don't trust it.
I also don't like how they say to be patient, it takes 60 days to ship....

Perhaps this vendor isn't greedy, as most are. If one buys with a credit card, he can always get his money back if the vendor doesn't deliver. However, I would certainly check this vendor's rating with the Better Business Bureau.

My guess is that they're ordering the product from China after you pay for it. No warehousing means low cost, and there's likely zero after-sales support.

That makes good sense, Weld. Most owners of Chinese motorcycles get zero after-sales support anyway.

Its a little interesting that they are offering street bikes. I wonder what hoops you might have to jump through to actually get one on the road? Also...how many of us would have had Gios if not for this web site. If there was a support community like this one I'd take a flyer at those prices.....waynec

You all make valid points. Perhaps I was being premature, but I remain skeptical.

I see they have the Dong Fang bobber for $820 and free shipping. That bike from a US seller would run $2000 for the bike plus freight. $352 for the Honda CT-70 clone, with a 125cc engine. But no one here has ordered through them? They say you can pay with PayPal or Western Union. I have never used PayPal. But don't they use your regular credit card?

You can lose your money on paypal. I would be very hesitant to try these guys out.

The payment via PayPal or Western Union has changed my mind. I'm going to side with FastDoc and Culcune. I wouldn't trust this vendor; it's starting to sound fishy to me.

That's an excellent point. I would stay away from this vendor. If it sounds too good to be true, it's probably too good to be true.
